What Makes Us Different?
No two people are alike. This won’t be a cookie cutter approach that may band-aid your symptoms temporarily. Our goal is not only to treat your current pain and symptoms, but to find the root cause as to why this happened in the first place. All of our patient visits are private, one-on-one sessions with your assigned physical therapist (no aides, students, or techs). Through each session you will be educated on why you are in pain, what is triggering your pain and how you can alleviate it for long term success and resolution.
As we like to say, we like to teach our patients to fish! Each visit, we will teach, coach, and video record you through your personal self care exercises and strategies to get you back to doing what you love. Your videos will be uploaded to your personal patient portal so you know exactly what you need to do outside of the clinic which makes for a faster progression each visit. Our goal is to not only get you out of pain and get back to your favorite activities, but to teach to how to manage your case independently.
Our Treatment Process Will Address The Three Main Pillars That Are Likely Causing You Pain
1. Your Environment
Addressing how you interact with the world around you.
- Self-care techniques
- Workstation ergonomics
- Car-seat position
- Physical activity modification
- Exercise program modifications
- Active warmup and recovery strategies
2. Manual Therapy
Improving how well you move.
- Joint mobilization
- Neuromuscular facilitation
- Movement re-education
- Soft tissue mobilization
- Dry needling, cupping, advanced release techniques
- Shockwave therapy
3. Exercise Prescription
Learning the to-do’s and not-to-do’s to strengthen your body.
- Self-care mobility techniques
- Motor control and stability drills
- Functional exercise progressions, regressions, lateralizations
- Training education on manipulating training variables
- Coaching on optimal pain-free performance

Modalities We Use
Dry Needling
Dry Needling is a very powerful recovery tool that helps improve pain, blood flow, recovery time, movement quality, and can help to eliminate pain.
Shockwave Therapy
Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Technology, or EPAT, is a form of extracorporeal shock wave therapy. It is an evidence-based technology platform that utilizes a unique set of acoustic pressure waves to stimulate the metabolism, enhance blood circulation, stimulate stem cell regeneration, restores mobility, and accelerates the healing process. It is one of the most advanced and highly effective noninvasive treatment methods cleared by the FDA. EPAT is a new form of technology that is not only effective at treating conditions like chronic tendinitis, but is non-invasive, well tolerated, and has virtually no risks or side effects when indicated.
Cupping
Cupping therapy works by creating a suction effect that helps to increase superficial tissue mobility by separating layers of fascia, improve local blood flow, improve microcirculation, improve mobility, and helps improve recovery time.
Blood Flow Restriction
(BFR) is used for a variety of musculoskeletal loading injuries such as tendonitis, sprains, strains, and post operative repairs. BFR allows us to load the body at low levels while getting the full benefits of recovery, strength training and hypertrophy without overloading one’s healing body part.
Joint Manipulation/Mobilization
Often when motion is restricted, it can be at the level of the joint. Joint manipulation (aka cracking) and mobilization is a tool to help that joint move freely again and help reduce pain and improve function.
Soft Tissue Mobilization
Soft tissue work is essential to keep your body working at its peak and staying free of injury. We use a combination of hands on mobility and massage techniques as well as instrumented assisted soft tissue mobilization commonly known as Graston Technique.
Movement Retraining
The best way to keep injuries from happening is learning how to prevent them. Most sessions will have a portion designated to teaching you how to move your body more efficiently to move more freely, with more control, and more resilience to help prevent nagging pains and injuries from returning.
Normatec Recovery Systems
Our NormaTec Recovery System is a pneumatic air compression system that helps to rid our body of metabolic waste products from exercise, decrease inflammation, improve lymphatic drainage, which in turn can improve recovery times. Great before or after a heavy training session or a long run!
*Standalone memberships are available for unlimited monthly use of our recovery system.
